One Option: New World University Near You
The New World University experience is designed to be a complete one for guided independent study students who interact with us only by distance. With quick response to your administrative needs from our staff, and fast answers to your academic questions available on our forum, there's no need to feel you're on your own.
However, sometimes students have other needs that are best met by having a local presence. In a few cities, New World University has established partnerships with learning centres which can provide additional services of value to our students. These affiliated centres are not owned by New World University, but they have been vetted by us and we work closely with them so that we feel confident you will have a good experience working with them. Learning centres offer any or all of the following additional services:
- Internet access. Not everyone in the world has reliable Internet access. In some places, good connections can be very expensive. Some centres have computer labs with modern PCs that are connected to the Internet at a speed and reliability to help you get the information you need.
- Tutorial assistance. Some centres bring in lecturers to help students have a classroom experience, and get their questions about their subject materials answered in person. Often centres provide opportunities for students to learn together in groups, which is ideal both for absorbing material and for professional networking.
- Payment services. Some centres offer expanded payment options to make it easy for you to cover your tuition fees.
Note that because centres are not part of New World University and are operated by third parties, they may charge their own fees for these additional services. Remember, you don't have to use them if you don't need to do so.
