Nothing is more powerful than a meeting of the minds

spinning globe New World University holds conferences on select topics pertaining to innovation in higher education, education for development of low and middle income countries, and emerging institutions in general. From 1998 to 2000, a previous organisation, CSEI, held a series of conferences called Lex Cybernetoria on what was then the emerging instition of international law and custom on settling disputes relating to the Internet. The first was held in Reykjavík, Iceland in 1998, and the second in Charlestown, Nevis, West Indies in 2000.

Now New World University would like to resume this focus on the emerging institutions that are arising in low and middle income countries as part of their process of higher education development. To support this objective, an International Development, Education, and Administration (IDEA) conference will be held in 2018, with the goal of biennial conferences to follow.
