Introduction to Business

Welcome to the Introduction to Business course at New World University.

In this course you’ll explore the exciting world of business. You’ll be introduced to the various activities in which businesspeople engage, including accounting, finance, information technology, management, marketing, and operations. You’ll understand the roles that these activities play in an organisation, and how they work together. As this is an ideal first course in our International Business Leadership set of programmes, we hope that by exposing you to the things that businesspeople do, we’ll help you decide whether business is right for you and, if so, what areas of business you’d like to study further.

This course relies with our gratitude on the first edition of Exploring Business by Karen Collins, and as such its long form readings are released under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 License.
