Cross-Cultural Leadership

Welcome to the Cross-Cultural Leadership course at New World University.

This course is about cultural intelligence and its application to leadership. Leaders emerge from all walks of life, in formal and informal ways, and notions of leadership differ amongst cultures. This course uses the definition of leadership from the GLOBE study of leadership across cultures: the ability of an individual to influence, motivate, and enable others to contribute toward the effectiveness and success of the organizations which they are members.

This course relies with our gratitude on the first edition of Leading with Cultural Intelligence by David Livermore and other works as noted throughout. As such its long form readings are released under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 License.
